What does SheCook?

Holly Holt works in Treaty 6 Territory as a Chef and Educator. She works full time with YTC, curating a healthy lunch program for staff and facilitating cooking classes for community members. She also collaborates with Edmonton’s Stanley Milner Library in The Kitchen as an instructor, focusing on Indigenous cuisine in her teachings. Holly is well versed in the catering business, and has a dynamic approach in curating specific menu’s and experiences for her clients. She enjoys the challenge of cooking or teaching in unique environments, from writers workshops, to kids cooking classes, to bush cooking, to farm to table, corporate events, plating demonstrations, to cooking on a boat and much much more. Holly is proud to share her food alongside her teachings, with reconciliation and respect to her culture being prioritized. She is a firm believer that food is more than what is on a plate, but a way to discuss history, politics, culture, food insecurity and art, all with a delicious approach. She strives to continue her journey to learn, reconnect with her culture, share, create, meet new people and eat good food along the way. Holly Holt is currently fully booked for 2026.
